 | | | The theories, that were conveyed with more or less practice, are then implemented into daily work. What is behind these theories, what do they have in common? Is it possible to reduce them to a common denominator? Yes, it is possible! Most of the theories' background is as old as it is simple. "Action - Reaction"! Simple and true. So much for theory. And in practice? That’s just as simple! – Well… almost :-)
To obtain a desired reaction through the right choice of actions is an art. This has nothing to do with manipulation, but – especially when it happens intuitively - rather with perception and empathy. Just think of a crying child. If you yell at it to calm down, you surely won’t reach a positive result. Success is more likely if you talk to it calmly and gently. | | So what we have to do is firstly sharpen out perception, then ponder about what might be the "right thing" to do, and finally do it. What the “right thing” is, depends on the situation, but the way of finding the “right thing” might be universally valid.
Contemplate what the "right thing" might be. Consider also the goals the involved parties might have. Try to deliberate foresee the outcome of your actions and keep changing your actions until they show the desired effect. Of course, it is not as simple as you might be led to believe now. This method of action serves as a basis, but for the implementation of company wide changes, like for example the implementation of a process model, surely a few additional aspects are to be considered.
