We are big enough to be customer-oriented and small enough to work flexibly and innovatively. Using highly specialized know-how, innovative methodology and technologies we offer integral and future-oriented solutions to problems complex in both, content and method, in technical and not-technical software and system development. Our core competence is requirements engineering and the use of object oriented methods. We also support our customers with the planning and handling of projects and with the improvement of group-dynamic processes. Having our own research and development department makes sure that innovative ideas are an integral part of our trainings and events and that our consultants convey new and supplementary know-how to our customers.

			Another focus of our work is the development and application of standards for software development methodology. In order to write understandable specification we mostly rely on linguistic and object oriented methods.

			We were the first to transfer linguistic methodology for the analysis of software requirements from the domain of linguistic science to computer science. The SOPHIST GmbH is currently the sole company that systematically trains and implements these methods with customers. Many major buisness clients currently use this methodical approach with enormous success.
