	What is CARE		CARE - Computer Aided Requirements Engineering - is a Lotus Notes based tool which supports developers with technical and non-technical systems and software products. It helps them with the requirements process of a new system or a new software product with collecting, optimizing and traceably managing requirements through all iterations.

	Object Engineering		The SOPHISTs have especially developed Object Engineering, on account of years of project work and counseling experience, to optimize these tasks. This is a defined process model for the requirements analysis, that describes a systematic, engineering-like process. It serves to elicit requirements and to document, organize, check and to manage these during the whole life cycle.

			Actually, this tool was built by consultants because of challenges and hurdles they incurred while working with an industrial project. After that this tool was further developed into being project independent to fit market criteria. For example one goal was to reduce the classical loss of information, the usual misunderstandings and misinterpretations between what is demanded of the new system and what is actually implemented. CARE also ensures that all changes and decisions during development are traceable.
