Replication of requirements
All involved parties / your team members, all stakeholders and you - are able to work on requirements with their various roles and rights - whereever they are - using local “database copies”. By replication with the CARE database on the server, the requirements are being updated to the current standing.
Because of diverse contents which are getting put onto the database during replication the so called "replication-conflicts" show you when requirements have to be reconciled.

Rights and role system, statistical data about project status, system safety
You have the possibility, for example by actions like “questioning”, to get directly into the process and communicate with the team members. Because of the rights and role system you, as the project leader, define who is allowed to do what with which documents (e.g. read only, read and write, release etc.). Lotus Notes enables you, if necessary, to request statistical data of the project progression right away, which considerably simplifies the report of the project status to the management. On top of that, IBM regularly publishes figures which document that Notes is a “secure” software and is much less endangered to mail-viruses throughout the world, than for instance Office-based software tools.
